Cardboard Gangsters Teaser Released To Celebrate Films World Premiere at Galway Film Fleadh

Mark O’Connor’s gritty CARDBOARD GANGSTERS starring John Connors (Love/Hate, King of the Travellers) will have its world premiere at the Galway Film Fleadh next weekend.  To whet your appetite the filmmakers have released an exclusive clip from the film.

In the film Connors plays a small time drug dealer who, together with his group of cardboard gangsters attempts to gain control of the drug trade in Darndale, chasing the glorified lifestyle of money, power and sex.

To mark the world premiere, there will be a pre-screening party in the Roisin Dubh which will have live music from acts who feature on the films soundtrack including Patti Smith Blues Band, Fifth Element, Jambo, Trom and God Creative and Crimes Against.  The party, which is open to the public and will take place 5pm – 8pm, is co-sponsored by the Craic Festival.

The film will screen on Saturday 9th July at 10pm at the Galway Film Fleadh and will be released in cinemas later this year by Wildcard Distribution.
