A contemporary re-imagining of the 1988 horror classic film, CHILD’S PLAY opens in cinemas across Ireland today.

The film follows Karen (Aubrey Plaza), a single mother who gifts her son Andy (Gabriel Bateman) a Buddi doll unaware of its more sinister nature.  It stars Mark Hamill (Star Wars) as the voice of Chucky.

Directed by Lars Klevberg and written by Tyler Burton Smith, the horror film has been receiving praise from critics saying the film is fun and gory with The Guardian, NME, and Total Film giving it four stars.
