How Was Your Day Wins at Indie Cork

The live action short film HOW WAS YOUR DAY directed by Damien O’Donnell has won the Award for Best Irish Short Film at the Indie Cork Film Festival over the weekend.

The short which was funded through the Irish Film Board Signatures scheme stars Eileen Walsh as a woman who is excited about the approaching birth of her first child and her resulting experience of motherhood.  The script, written by Damien O’Donnell was adapted from a short story by Nollaig Rowan.

This latest win comes only three weeks after the short won awards for Best Short, Best Director and Best Performance at the inaugural short film awards at the Kinsale International Advertising Festival.

The Indie Cork Film Festival celebrated independent film and music in venues across Cork from the 4th – 11th October.
