Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams is set to appear on this Friday’s Late Late Show where she’ll be chatting with Ryan Tubridy about her role in the new film GOLD which is out in Irish cinemas on Friday October 10th.   In the film, Maisie, who was named as a Screen International’s ‘Star of Tomorrow’, plays a teenage girl whose father is on a mission to re-connect with her and her mother after a 12 year absence.  Unfortunately his efforts to bridge the gap seem to lead to chaos turning any good intentions he may have into comic catastrophe.

GOLD is directed by IFTA winning Niall Heery (Small Engine Repair) and stars James Nesbitt (The Hobbit), David Wilmot (Calvary) and Kerry Condon (The Runway) along with a strong supporting cast including Steven Mackintosh (Kick Ass 2, Underworld), Martin Maloney (The Hardy Bucks), Irish comedian David McSavage (The Savage Eye) and Missy Keating, daughter of Ronan Keating.

Maisie will no doubt also chat to Ryan about her role as Arya Stark in the hit television series Game of Thrones.  Other guests scheduled for this Friday’s Late Late Show include musician Ed Sheeran.

The Late Late Show will broadcast this Friday 3rd October at 9.35pm.

GOLD will be released in Irish cinemas from Friday 10th October.
