The audience attending the preview screening of the horror/thriller GREEN ROOM this Thursday (12th May) in the Light House Cinema will have the added bonus of a Q&A with the film’s award-winning director Jeremy Saulnier.  It’s just been confirmed that the director will join the audience for a post-screening discussion via Skype live from the US.

GREEN ROOM which opens in cinemas this Friday 13th May follows down-on-their-luck punk rockers The Ain’t Rights who agree to a last-minute gig in a backwoods Oregon roadhouse.  After witnessing a murder, the band is forced into a vicious fight for survival against a group of maniacal skinheads.

Jeremy Saulnier is an internationally acclaimed filmmaker whose previous film BLUE RUIN won the Directors Fortnight FIPRESCI Prize at the Cannes Film Festival in 2013.

The film is an exhilarating experience with a thick vein of dark humour and featuring gripping ensemble performances from Patrick Stewart, Anton Yelchin, Imogen Poots, Alia Shawkat, Joe Cole, Macon Blair and Callum Turner.

The GREEN ROOM preview takes place on Thursday 12th May at 6.30pm in the Light House Cinema.  Tickets can be purchased on the Light House Cinema website
