This Friday the 24th of April, Killian Scott and Peter Coonan will join Ryan Tubridy on the Late Late Show couch to talk about their forthcoming movie GET UP & GO.

The ex-Love/Hate stars will be appearing on the long-running chat show to discuss their very different roles in the Brendan Grant directed film, which sees them leaving the gritty underworld of the hit RTE series behind for a comedy drama which explores late-twenties life in post-boom Dublin.

GET UP & GO follows a day in the lives of wannabe comedian Coilin (Scott) and roguish musician Alex (Coonan). When Alex’s girlfriend gives him some life-changing news, his long-cherished plan to escape to London is thrown into disarray.  Meanwhile the unlucky in love Coilin is struggling to fulfill his ill-advised dreams of comedy stardom. As the pair are forced to confront some difficult choices about their future, the unpredictable events of a night on the streets of Dublin will test their friendship to the limit.

The movie’s supporting cast includes Gemma-Leah Devereux (Stitches, Dartmoor Killing), Sara Lloyd-Gregory (Doctors), Emma Eliza-Regan (Love Eternal, Darkness On The Edge of Town), and Sarah McCall (Wide Open Spaces).

The film has also an eclectic soundtrack with contributions from many of Ireland’s most exciting musicians including Villagers, Adrian Crowley, Jape, and Lisa O’Neill, and international artists like Low, Arthur Russell, and Television Personalities.

GET UP & GO will be released in Irish cinemas on May 1st.
