LIFE’S A BREEZE To Have International Premiere This Weekend in Toronto

LIFE’A BREEZE director Lance Daly is heading to the A-list Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) this weekend with the films producers Macdara Kelleher and Morgan Bushe of Fastnet Films and stars of the film Pat Shortt and Kelly Thornton for the films international premiere this Sunday 8th September.

The feel good comedy will screen in the Contemporary World Cinema section of the festival which is the leading public film festival in the world and is one of the most important film festivals in North America. The film is close to securing a US theatrical distribution deal, details of which will be announced at the festival.

LIFE’S A BREEZE follows a family struggling to stay afloat and stay together through hard times in Ireland. Unemployed slacker Colm (Pat Shortt), his aging mother Nan (Fionnula Flanagan) and his niece Emma (Kelly Thornton) must overcome their many differences to lead their family in a race against time to find a lost fortune.


TIFF screenings are as follows:

Tuesday 10th September         Scotiabank 13                  3.45pm
Friday 13th September            Scotiabank 13                  12.45pm

The film can still be seen in selected cinemas throughout Ireland and will be available and DVD on Video on Demand later this year. The film was produced by Dublin-based Fastnet Films, with the support of the Irish Film Board / Bord Scannán na hÉireann, and the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland.

TIFF runs from 5th – 15th September.
