Lance Daly’s feel-good comedy Life’s A Breeze will have its UK premiere this Friday when it screens as part of the third annual Irish Film Festival London which kicks off today. The screening will take place at the Tricycle Cinema and will be followed by a Q&A with Daly and special guests.

The film, which is currently available to buy and rent on DVD in Ireland, will then have its UK cinema release the following Friday, 29th November.

Life’s A Breeze follows a family struggling to stay afloat and stay together through hard times in Ireland. Unemployed slacker Colm (Pat Shortt), his aging mother Nan (Fionnula Flanagan) and his niece Emma (Kelly Thornton) must overcome their many differences to lead their family in a race against time to find a lost fortune.

The Irish Film Festival London will run until Sunday 24th November, screening Irish films and animations across three venues around London. Other great Irish films screening include The Irish Pub, Run and Jump, Men at Lunch, Silence and the short films Rúbaí, Noreen, Joyriders, Farewell Packets of Ten, and Irish Folk Furniture.

Life’s A Breeze was produced by Dublin-based Fastnet Films (The Runway, Kisses), with the support of the IFB and BAI and is being distributed in Ireland and the UK by Wildcard Distribution.
