In anticipation of Jeremy Saulnier’s upcoming release GREEN ROOM, New York film studio A24 has launched its first episode of Green Room Radio, a weekly online punk rock radio show.

GREEN ROOM follows down-on-their-luck punk rockers The Ain’t Rights who agree to a last-minute gig in a backwoods Oregon roadhouse only to find themselves targeted by a ruthless club owner and his associates leading to devastating consequences.

Hosted by Tony Rettman, author of NYHC: New York Hardcore 1980-1990, each episode of the Green Room Radio show will include anecdotes and a rotating playlist to bring hardcore punk to a broader audience and will also feature intimate interviews with hardcore punk legends and next generation musicians of the scene.

The first episode features special guest Ted Leo of Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, speaking about terrible gigs, his entrance into the hardcore scene, his band’s new album and more.  Future guests include Ned Russin from Title Fight, Richie Birkenhead of Underdog, Roger Mirret of Agnostic Front and Jeremy Saulnier and the cast of the film.

New episodes of Green Room Radio will stream live every Wednesday night on  Check out the first episode on

The film features performances from Patrick Stewart, Anton Yelchin, Imogen Poots, Alia Shawkat, Joe Cole, Macon Blair and Callum Turner and was awarded the Best Ensemble by the Dublin Film Critics Circle at ADIFF last week.  It will be released in Irish cinemas on Friday, 13th May.
