Brendan Muldowney’s unforgettable drama LOVE ETERNAL is now available on a range of VoD platforms worldwide, including iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, Sony Entertainment Network, Xbox Video, and Blinkbox.

Starring Robert de Hoog (Skin) and Pollyanna Macintosh (The Woman, Filth) and adapted from the novel In Love With The Dead by legendary horror author Kei Oishi (Ju-On), LOVE ETERNAL is the story of Ian, a young man who has been haunted by the spectre of death for most of his life. When an attempt to commit suicide goes wrong, his obsession with mortality begins to take on a more intimate and disturbing character. It’s only when he strikes up a tentative relationship with Naomi (Macintosh), a grieving mother still reeling from the death of her young son, that he begins to see a way out of his solitary existence.

Called “a beguiling and deftly enigmatic tale of dark and haunted love” by Screen Daily, Love Eternal allows director Muldowney (named one of Twitchfilm’s Directors to Watch in 2013) to demonstrate his versatility with a film that is markedly different in tone to his visceral debut feature Savage. Aided by the exquisite cinematography of longtime collaborator Tom Comerford and the unsettling tones of Bart Westerlaken’s eerie electronic score, he delivers an emotive and original exploration of love and death.

LOVE ETERNAL has now played at over sixty film festivals worldwide, picking up the inaugural Fresh Blood Award at the Black Bear Film Fest in Warsaw and winning Best Irish Feature at the Jameson Dublin Film Festival.

The film is now available on the following platforms:
