Mammal Hits Irish Cinemas Today

Rebecca Daly’s critically acclaimed dramatic feature film MAMMAL starring Academy Award® nominated and Golden Globe® winning actress Rachel Griffiths (Six Feet Under) and ADIFF Discovery Award winner Barry Keoghan (Love/Hate, ’71) opens in Irish cinemas today Friday, April 1st.

To mark the release there are two special screenings this weekend in the Irish Film Institute (IFI) and the Light House Cinema in Smithfield.

The IFI is holding a special Opening Night Event this evening at 18.30 hosted with Women in Film and Television where the film’s director Rebecca Daly and lead actor Barry Keoghan will be in attendance and will take part in post screening Q&A.

Meanwhile the Light House Cinema in Smithfield will be hosting a special screening of the film tomorrow, Saturday 2nd April at 18.00 which will also include a post-screening Q&A with Daly and Keoghan hosted by award-winning writer and director Oonagh Kearney.

Both Keoghan’s and Griffiths’ performances have been praised by critics and audiences alike and both are nominated for Irish Film and Television awards while Rebecca Daly has been nominated for an IFTA Rising Star.

The film has been garnering critical acclaim this week with a 4.5 star review in Entertainment.ie, a 4 star review in the Irish Times and a 4 star review in the Irish Independent.
