MAMMAL Opens in Cinemax Bantry This Weekend

Following on from its nationwide release last week, Rebecca Daly’s critically acclaimed dramatic feature film MAMMAL will open in Cinemax Bantry tomorrow Friday 8th April.

Starring the IFTA nominated actors Rachel Griffiths (Six Feet Under) and Barry Keoghan (Love/Hate, ’71) MAMMAL is the compelling story of a woman (Griffiths) who has lost her son and develops an unorthodox relationship with a homeless youth (Keoghan). Their tentative trust is threatened by his involvement with a violent gang and the escalation of her ex-husband’s grieving rage. The film also stars Michael McElhatton (Game of Thrones), Johnny Ward (Love/Hate) and Nika McGuigan (Philomena)

The film has been garnering critical acclaim with a 4.5 star review in, a 4 star review in the Irish Times and a 4 star review in the Irish Independent.
