The world premiere of Frank Berry’s latest feature Michael Inside takes place at the Galway Film Fleadh tonight.

The film, hich stars Dafhyd Flynn, Lalor Roddy and Moe Dunford, tells the story of Michael McCrea, an impressionable 18-year-old living with his grandfather Francis in a Dublin housing estate, who gets caught holding a bag of drugs for his friend’s older brother and is sentenced to three months in prison.

The film was the topic of a panel session at the Fleadh Forum yesterday which delved into the area of independent filmmaking looking at the creative approach taken by the filmmakers and discussing how to maximise limited resources to the best effect.
