As AMY heads into another week on release in Irish cinemas, Deadline in the US has reported that the film has become the highest grossing British documentary of all time eclipsing director Asif Kapadia’s previous project SENNA.

Not only has AMY become the ‘must see’ film of the summer, it is also one of the best reviewed films of the year so far (achieving a rating of 97% on Rotten Tomatoes), is one of the highest grossing documentary films ever at the UK and Irish box office and has grossed more than Oscar-winners Boyhood, Still Alice and Whiplash at the box office this year.
