Run & Jump goes on cinematic release in the UK tomorrow Thursday, 22nd May with a special screening in London.  The screening which will be held in the Genesis Cinema, Whitechapel will be followed by a special Q&A session with the film’s director Steph Green.

The film which picked up the Best Feature Film at the ‘Zebbie’ Awards last week, stars Emmy-nominated actor Will Forte (Nebraska, 30 Rock) stars alongside Maxine Peake (Silk, Shameless) and Ed MacLiam (Holby City). The heart-warming and funny film follows the spirited and impossibly optimistic Vanetia (Peake) who is slowly rebuilding the life she loved following her husband’s (MacLiam) sudden personality-changing stroke. Forte plays a buttoned-up American neuropsychologist who arrives in Ireland to stay with the family to observe Vanetia’s husband. But his continued presence in the house sets the family on course for an emotional collision.

Run & Jump will be screening in cinemas throughout the UK this summer and has been receiving reviews such as the following:

“Forte and Peake excel in a notable debut from Green that marks her out as a director to watch”. Empire

a big, cheery lummox of a film – one with a huge heart that’s very difficult not to like”.
