Irish comedian PJ Gallagher will be joining Ryan Tubridy for a chat on the Late Late Show tonight where he’ll talk about his latest role in the upcoming comedy feature film The Young Offenders.

Gallagher is one of Ireland’s most popular stand-up comedians, perhaps best known from his television show Naked Camera.

Inspired by Ireland’s biggest cocaine seizure of €440 million off the coast of Cork in 2007, The Young Offenders directed by first-time feature director Peter Foott, follows two Cork inner-city teenagers as they embark on a 160km road trip on stolen bikes in the hopes of finding some unrecovered bales.  PJ stars as a drug dealer who is also on the hunt for a bale.

He stars alongside new talents Chris Walley and Alex Murphy and comedic actress Hilary Rose (Republic of Telly) in the film which is directed by Peter Foott.

The Young Offenders which will have its world premiere at the Galway Film Fleadh this July and will be released in cinemas nationwide this coming September.

The Late Late Show will be on RTE One this Friday 20th May from 9.30pm.
